摘要 A device and a method for performing control based on a neural signal are provided to control a specific device based on the neural signal, outputted from a nerve cell within a non-motor neural region of a cerebrum, by connecting to the nerve cell. A signal extractor(100) extracts the neural signal from a nerve cell. A signal transformer(200) transforms the neural signal inputted from the signal extractor into each processing signal. A signal separator(320) classifies the processing signals according to correlation by evaluating the correlation among the processing signals. A neural source selector(330) selects a processing signal from the classified processing signals and selects a nerve cell corresponding to the selected processing signal as a neural source. A motor information matcher(410) respectively matches the selected neural source with specific motion or intension information. The neural signal is activity potential, ECoG(Subdural Electrocortigram), or EEG(Electroencephalogram).
