This invention relates to a robot vacuum cleaner (1) and a control method thereof which comprises a body (2), a power supply, one or more wheels (7) attached to the body (2), which facilitate the movement of the body (2), one or more motors used to move the wheels (7) by utilizing the energy obtained from the power supply, one or more ultrasonic sensors (4) positioned onto the body (2), sensing different quantities of entities, one or more infrared sensors (5), one or more touch sensors (6) which consist of switches detecting a contact, a control unit which controls the motor with respect to the information obtained through the said sensors (4, 5, 6), a bumper (3) which moves towards the body (2) at an instant of contact. |
