A crystal oscillator is provided to fix and support one end of a crystal portion and replace a space unit of a conventional second ceramic layer by forming an electrode pad consisting of a plurality of laminated metal layers at an upper face of one side of a first ceramic layer with a predetermined height. In a crystal oscillator, first and second ceramic layers(1,2) are laminated on a ceramic package to form a concave space unit(20). An electrode pad(4) consisting of a plurality of laminated metal layers(41,42) is formed on an upper surface of one side of the first ceramic layer(1). A piezoelectric element of which one end is fixed to the electrode pad(4) generates an oscillation. A conductive adhesive agent applied on an upper face of the electrode pad(4) bonds the one end of the piezoelectric element. And, a lead(3) covers an upper part of the ceramic package for sealing. |
