Low-noise modular direct drive

Direct drive has a magnetically active part of a rotor, which is composed of any number of radially aligned U-plates (1) of soft-magnetic material. A magnetically active part of a stator is formed of soft magnetic material by a hollow cylinder (2), having radial slots on both sides. Alternatively a magnetically active part of a stator is composed of any number of radially aligned U-plates of soft-magnetic material. A magnetically active part of a rotor is formed of soft magnetic material by a hollow cylinder (2), having radial slots on both sides. In both the alternatives, the hollow cylinders can be formed from several, sector-shaped parts or hollow cylinder sectors.
