Method involves collection of the geometry of the instrument (700) by means of scanning unit (100), included one, which is attached at the instrument by at least two active or passive marker of formed reference system (800). The data processing unit (400) calculates the three dimensional model of the instrument from the collected information over the geometry of the instrument and the reference system. The verification, calibration and measuring of the instrument take place on the basis information of the geometry of the three dimensional model of the instrument. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Computer program; (B) Program storage medium; and (C) Device for automatic verification, calibration or measurement of an instrument. |
