A method and a system for intermediating settlement are provided to enable aged users to easily use T(TV)-commerce and safely/correctly intermediate the settlement by using the closed PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network). A settlement intermediating part(310) transmits order data to a seller server(510) through the network(200) if the order data including at least one of goods information, a buyer phone number, and a seller phone number is received from an STB(Set-Top Box)(110), and connects a call between a buyer and seller telephone(140,520) if a call connection request signal is received from the seller server. If the call connection request signal is received from the seller server, the settlement intermediating part connects the call between the buyer telephone and a phone banking system(620) connected to a bank server(610). If settlement confirmation data is received from the bank server, the settlement intermediating part transmits the settlement confirmation data to the STB. |
