DETECTING METHOD AND APPARATUS OF A MINUTE OSCILLATION, AND A WIBRO REPEATER THEREWITH

A small oscillation detecting method and apparatus and a WiBro repeater having the apparatus are provided to reduce the number of multipliers by approximating calculation of complex and accurately measure small oscillation even when a loop delay is not accurately known. The autocorrelation of a signal inputted to a repeater is calculated(S710). Energy of the input signal is calculated(S720). An amount of oscillation is calculated by dividing the calculated autocorrelation value by the calculated energy(S730). Whether the repeater has minutely oscillated or not is determined by comparing the calculated amount of oscillation and a certain threshold value(S740).
