An adjustable drive with a synthetic plastic housing, through which an electric drive armature (4) of a commutator (5) passes having brushes (9) in a carbon brush carriers (e.g. 8), where the brush carrier arrangement and the housing are both made in one piece from a synthetic plastic material. An independent claim is included for a process for production of the drive housing in synthetic plastic material in which the brush carrier arrangement and the housing are obtained by injection molding (sic).
