<p>The reactor block consists of at least two thin walls (3) of stable materials such as stainless steel or non-degradable synthetic polymers, with a support (2) for micro-organisms sandwiched between them. The walls are fixed together by spacers (8) optionally connected to the support, which is made with a tubular, spherical, conical or lamellar structure and comprises a large number of separate units assembled and fixed together in packs of suitable dimensions.
