A plasma display apparatus is provided to reduce noise generated from a plasma display panel by forming holes at a chassis base and using a sound absorbing member. A plasma display panel(110) is used for displaying images. A printed circuit board(120) is used for driving the plasma display panel. A chassis base(130) is disposed between the plasma display panel and the printed circuit board in order to support the plasma display panel and the printed circuit board. The chassis base includes a plurality of holes(135) in order to absorb the noise generated from the plasma display panel. A sound absorbing member(150) absorbs the noise transferred from the holes of the chassis base.
