摘要 A steering device of an impact variable absorbing structure using a pin and a wire is provided to absorb impact energy by winding the wire fixed on a vehicle body around the pin through friction force between the pin and the wire and to sometimes not absorb the impact energy by separating the pin from the wire through an actuator. A steering device of an impact variable absorbing structure using a pin and a wire comprises a steering wheel operated by a driver to adjust driven direction of a vehicle; a steering shaft(100,103) transmitting rotation of the steering wheel; a gear unit formed on the distal end of the steering shaft to switch rotation of the steering wheel into linear movement; a link structure receiving the linear movement and transmitting the steering force to the wheels; a column(101,102) receiving the steering shaft; a bracket(104) fixing the column with the vehicle body; at least one pin(304) interlocked with the steering wheel, the bracket, the column, and the steering shaft receiving the impact energy to be moved in a direction of the impact and formed in a rod shape to be at a certain angle about the impact direction; a wire(302) installed on the pin movement line and fixed on the vehicle body after winding around the pin over once to be rubbed with the pin while the pin is moved in the impact direction; and a pin actuator(307) connected with one end of the pin to draw the pin so as to separate the pin from the wire.
