A new fluidification device for fluidifying poorly flowing granular materials, which is suitable for removing or significantly reducing demerits of the prior art, a fluidification device which can assure a regular and continuous discharge of granular materials through a lower discharge port without causing vibrations, and a fluidification device which has high reliability, is easily mountable in a loading hopper and can be procured at competitive production and service costs are provided. In a fluidification device for a granular material(3) having a loading hopper(1) for the granular material equipped with at least one lower discharge port(4) and an opening-and-closing device(5) for the at least one discharge port, the fluidification device comprises: at least one pressurized fluid ejection means designed to direct at least one ejection stream(g1-gn) into the loading hopper; and intermittent pressurized fluid supply means in fluid communication with the ejection means to generate intermittent ejection of pressurized fluid. The pressurized fluid supply means comprises: at least one pressurized fluid supply source; at least one supply pipe(8) for supplying the pressurized fluid to at least one of the ejection means; and at least one valve means(11) designed to generate the intermittent ejection streams by sequentially intercepting a flow of the pressurized fluid. The fluidification device comprises: at least one detector(13) designed to sense the opening state of the opening-and-closing device of the at least one discharge port; and at least one timer(12) designed such that the timer is controlled by the at least one detector and controls opening and closing of the at least one valve means.
