VOICE INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR DISABLED PERSONS AND METHOD THEREFOR

A system and a method for offering voice guidance to the transportation disadvantaged are provided to enable a blind person or an old/feeble person incapable of reading a guidepost to easily find a desired destination position by holding an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification). The RFID tag(100) stores a tag value categorized to each transportation disadvantaged. An RFID terminal transmits voice data to a voice guidance broadcasting speaker(300) by converting a signal received from the RFID tag into the tag value and reading the voice data corresponding to a category of each transportation disadvantaged. The RFID terminal includes an ID information register(h201), a guide information register(h202), an RF transceiving antenna(h203) transmitting an RF signal to the RFID tag attached/held by the transportation disadvantaged and receiving the RF signal reflected from the RFID tag, a signal processor(h204), a voice output part(h205), and an operation controller(h206).
