Lenses are removably mounted on the brow bar of an eyeglass frame. A coupli ng part is fixed to the top of each lens preferably by a rim member attached to the lens by conventional techniques. The coupling part is composed of magnetically attractive material and includes a protrusion. Each side of the brow bar carries one or more magnets to engage a coupling part and a recess to receive a protrusion to insure proper positioning of the lens relative to the brow bar. The coupling part may be retained behind, on top of, below or in front of the brow bar.
