A light emitting display device and a manufacturing method thereof is provided to increase a front emission resolution by maintaining a constant brightness on an overall surface of a large-sized substrate. A light emitting display device includes a pixel defining film(130), a light emitting layer(150), and a second electrode(160). A light emitting element, which is formed on a pixel region of a substrate, includes a first electrode(120). The pixel defining film is formed on the first electrode and includes an aperture, which at least partially exposes the first electrode. The light emitting layer is formed on the aperture of the pixel defining film. The second electrode is formed on the light emitting layer on the aperture and includes a transparent electrode and a conductive metal. The transparent electrode passes the light generated from the light emitting layer. The conductive metal is formed on the pixel defining film, so that the conductive metal is electrically connected to the transparent electrode. |
