An optical film and a backlight unit having the same are provided to prevent a display defect, improve the uniformity of a white light transferred to an LCD panel, and reduce the number of optical component parts. An optical structure(5) is integrated into an optical film(1) in a single body. A fluorescent substance(7) is included in the optical structure, wherein the fluorescent substance has a color for exiting a white light from an incident light. The optical structure is composed of triangular sections, polygonal sections, or partial circular sections. The optical film condenses, refracts, and outputs the light transferred from a light source. The light source is provided by at least one of an ultraviolet LED(Light Emitting Diode) and a blue LED. |
