A driving method of an organic electroluminescence display device is provided to reduce the power applied to plural pixels by regulating luminance by limiting the pixels to eight colors in a standby mode, and to improve the life span of the pixels by removing image sticking due to degradation. A driving method of an organic electro luminescence display device comprising plural data lines for transmitting a data signal, plural scan lines for transmitting a scan signal, plural emission control lines for transmitting an emission control signal, and plural pixels connected to the data, scan, and emission control lines includes the steps of: displaying all information on a screen in a normal mode when the pixels receive the data signal(S1); judging whether the pixels receive an operation signal within a first reference time or not(S2); and changing the mode into a standby mode for displaying the pixels with limited colors, if the operation signal is not applied within the first reference time(S3).
