A fabricated base plate for installing a post and a construction method thereof are provided to cut down construction cost without suspension of traffic by reducing construction period, and to support the post firmly by installing a foundation under the ground securely. A connecting apparatus(2) is formed in a periphery of a base plate and connected to the other base plate. A bracket is formed in the connecting apparatus, and an end of the bracket is embedded at an end of the base plate. The connecting apparatus is composed of plural grooves(22) formed at the outside of the base plate, and a band member(23) wound on the groove after assembling. An uneven part is formed in the connecting apparatus and engaged with the other base plate connected to the base plate. Plural through-holes are formed in the base plate, and an extension block is connected to the lower part of the base plate.
