A rotary shaft for moving a glass panel and a glass panel transfer apparatus using the same are provided to reduce weight and vibration by forming a shaft having a cavity. A glass panel transferring apparatus includes a bath(1), a driving source, a plurality of rotary shafts(7), and a plurality of transferring rollers(9). The bath is used for providing a work space for processing a glass panel(G). The driving source is installed on the bath in order to generate rotatory power. The plurality of rotary shafts are positioned on the work space in order to transfer and support the substrate. The transferring rollers are arranged on an outer circumference of each of the rotary shafts. The rotary shaft is formed with a main shaft having a cavity and end shafts(13) inserted into both ends of the main shaft.
