A method of constructing a sound-absorbing wall and a structure thereof are provided to improve the mounting performance of the support member and the durability by supporting the wall by the support wood. A method of constructing a sound-absorbing wall is composed of a step of removing the impurities from the construction area; a step of setting the reference point and dividing the construction area by considering the specifications of the sound-absorbing board and the support wood; a step of fixing the support wood at the divided wall surface by a fixing device such as a nail and setting the height of the support wood as a sum of the thickness of the high and middle sound absorbing-boards; a step of consecutively inserting the high and middle sound absorbing-boards in the divided space; and a step of fixing the rib and the front of the support wood by the fixing device and continually fixing the boards. A finishing material is fixed between the neighboring low sound-absorbing boards or the edges of the boards.
