A method and a system for controlling a rotary encoder switch are provided to adjust a rotation angle of the rotary encoder switch by using a motor which is controlled according to a PWM scheme. A system for controlling a rotary encoder switch includes a motor(113), a sensor(115), and a controller(111). The motor is controlled according to a PWM scheme. The sensor detects a position of the motor. The controller controls a rotation angle, a rotation direction, and a rotation torque of the motor according to a request of a corresponding module. The system includes a monitor which displays an icon according to the rotation angle, the rotation direction, and the rotation torque of the motor. The rotation angle, the rotation direction, and the rotation torque of the motor are controlled according to a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal. |
