A METHOD FOR COOLING MAGNETRON IN OVER THE RANGE BY USING VENTILATION FAN

A method of cooling magnetron of a hood microwave oven using a ventilation fan is provided to extend the duct from the ventilation fan to the magnetron and cool the magnetron by the air generated from the ventilation fan. A method of cooling magnetron of a hood microwave oven using a ventilation fan is composed of a step(S12) of judging whether or not this step is a cooking mode at a preparation mode step(S10); a step(S14) of operating the ventilation fan in a low mode at a low speed if the upper step is the cooking mode; a step(S16) of judging whether or not a button is pushed; a step(S18) of changing the low mode into a high mode if the button is pushed; a step(S20) of judging whether or not the button is pushed; a step(S22) of changing the high mode into the low mode if the button is pushed; a step(S26) of judging whether or not this step is the cooking mode; and a step(S28) of changing the low mode into the high mode if the upper step is the cooking mode.
