BASEBAND RECEIVER AND METHOD USING TRANSITION TRIGGER

A baseband receiver using a transition trigger and a method thereof are provided to remove the necessity of a complicate and high-performance DC drift estimator and improve BER(Bit Error Rate) performance by stably removing a DC drift as well as a white noise. A transition filter(210) filters a trigger waveform at a falling edge from rising or at a rising edge from falling of an inputted first symbol to output the second symbol. A threshold comparator(220) checks whether there is transition based on a threshold value with respect to the second symbol inputted from the transition filter(210), and outputs a transition symbol. A transition converter(230) restores the first symbol according to whether the transition has been generated or not in the transition symbol, and outputs the restored first symbol.
