A terminal and a method for limiting a viewing angle are provided to install a viewing angle limiting film in an upper folder and install a viewing angle limiting key unit for controlling the viewing angle limiting film to be activated/deactivated according to whether the viewing angle is limited in a lower folder. A terminal for limiting a viewing angle comprises the followings: a lower folder(S1) which has a key unit(S1-1) for inputting a viewing angle limiting signal; and an upper folder(S2) which has a viewing angle limiting film(S2-1) for passing light of a limited angle by controlling a reflective index by using an AR(Anti-Reflection) according to the viewing angle limiting signal. In the viewing angle limiting film(S2-1), the first TAC(TriAcetyl Cellulose) film(10) and a polarizing element(30) are combined by the first adhesives(20), and the polarizing element(30) and the second TAC film(50) are combined by the second adhesives(40).
