The device has a vent box (1) that is provided for receiving a fan and introduced in an opening along a main axis perpendicular to plane defined by front and rear sides (40, 41) of a panel (4) of a cabinet. Fixation flap groups are provided, where each group comprises a set of fixation flaps having different characteristics for attachment on the panel having different thicknesses of a cabinet. The flaps in each group are arranged such that each flap is adapted to the thickness of the panel on which the vent box is fixed.
