A vehicle tray locking device is provided to prevent a tray cover from being unintentionally opened, by applying different inertia to left and right sides of a vehicle tray, when impact is applied to a vehicle. A vehicle tray locking device comprises a tray cover, a latch member(30), and a lock member(40). The tray cover opens/closes a front surface of a vehicle tray, and has one end with a stopper ring(24). The latch member is locked by the initial insertion operation of the stopper ring of the tray cover, and unlocked by an additional insertion operation of the stopper ring. The lock member gets caught and fixed at a side wall of the stopper ring when inertia is generated only in the opposite direction for inserting the stopper ring to the latch member, so as to prevent the stopper ring from being escaped from the latch member when impact is applied from an external source.
