The unit has two fasteners (14, 15) placed at a free end (9) of radial arms (8a-8c) of a windscreen wiper blade mechanism (1) to fix the arms on a body structure unit of a motor vehicle. The fasteners are blocked on the structure unit by their deformation and creation of compressive forces on the fasteners. Each fastener has a stopper type cylindrical body, where the cylindrical bodies are inserted in lower buckles of orifices provided on a front inner side (7a) of the structure unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing a wiper driving mechanism on a body structure unit of a motor vehicle.
