The invention relates to a sensor for measuring transmission inside a washing machine or a dish-washing machine, comprising: a support (2); a transmitter (4), which is attached to the support (2) while transmitting a transmitter radiation; a receiver (6), which is fastened to the support (2) while receiving radiation generated by the transmitter (4), and; an aperture device (12), which is placed on the support while being located at a distance from the transmitter and/or the receiver. The aperture device comprises a transmitter aperture (14) and/or a receiver aperture (16).
