PERIODIC SYNCHRONUS METHOD FOR START OF SUPER-FRAME IN RESIDENTIAL ETHERNET

A periodic synchronizing method for start of a super-frame in a residential ethernet is provided to increase a practical use of bandwidth in Async frame by strictly maintaining start of super frame within predetermined period. A periodic synchronizing method for start of a super-frame in a residential ethernet includes the steps of: keeping a start of a firstly predetermined super frame in a predetermined transmission link; transmitting an Sync frame and an Async frame in a super frame, as much as a predetermined number(N-1) from the start of the firstly predetermined super frame; and maintaining a synchronization about the start of the super frame by strictly keeping a start of a next super frame(N), and performing a transmission control with respect to the Async frame intended to be transmitted in an end point of the super frame, as much as the predetermined number(N-1) from the start of the firstly predetermined super frame.
