A wireless communication terminal having a schedule registration function by using an incoming message and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to more conveniently register schedule related information, transmitted through the incoming message, in a scheduler. A wireless communication terminal having a schedule registration function by using an incoming message comprises outputting devices(14,17), a wireless transceiver(11), a storage unit(12), inputting devices(13,18), and a controller(15). The wireless transceiver(11) transmits/receives wireless signals to/from an external device. The storage unit(12) stores a scheduler and a message, wherein schedule specifications are registered in the scheduler. The inputting devices(13,18) enable a user to input a schedule registration request signal. The controller(15) registers schedule related information included in an incoming message if the schedule registration request signal is inputted while the incoming message is being outputted via the outputting devices(14,17).
