<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original lithographic printing plate which enables an image to be recorded and developed on a printing machine using a laser light, and features excellent sensitivity (fine line reproducibility and resistance to plate wear) and successful shelf stability over time and the inhibition of adhesion between the plate with a slip sheet and an abrasion due to exposure, and a lithographic printing method. <P>SOLUTION: This original lithographic printing plate has an imaging layer which can be removed by a printing ink, dampening water or both of these materials, formed on a support. In addition, the imaging layer contains a laminar compound.
