PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine a bus waiting time based on available information for operating state of a bus.

SOLUTION: This bus waiting time display system comprises a bus pass-through time storage means storing a time a bus passes each bus stop S1-S4; a bus arrival time difference calculation time calculating the bus arrival time difference between a following bus BUS2 and a passed bus BUS1 based on the time difference between a time (tBUS2_S2) that the following bus BUS2, which will arrive next at a designated bus stop S4, passes the previous bus stop S2 and a time (tBUS1_S2) that the passed bus BUS1 which passed through the designated bus stop S4 passes the previous bus stop S2; and a bus waiting time display means displaying a bus waiting time obtained by subtracting a current time from the total time obtained by adding the time that the passed bus BUS1 passes the designated bus stop S4, to the bus arrival time difference.
