<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear allowing the inner diameter of a hollow camshaft to be increased without enlarging the size of the reduction gear. <P>SOLUTION: An output pin 9 can maintain rigidity even if reducing the diameter because both ends are supported by bearings 10, 11, 15, 16. A vacant space can thereby be secured around the hollow camshaft 1, and the diameter of the hollow camshaft 1 can be increased without enlarging the size of the reduction gear. Further, since two toothed disks 5, 6 are provided, a sleeve required to be fitted to the hollow camshaft 1 in the case of providing three toothed disks, for instance, can be eliminated. The inner diameter of the hollow camshaft 1 can thereby be increased without enlarging the size of the reduction gear. In addition, needle bearings 3, 4 for supporting the hollow camshaft 1 and the toothed disks 5, 6 rotatably to each other are low in radial height compared with a ball bearing.
