PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental lighting system used as an ornamental lighting system of an event or an ornamental lighting system of an office, a shop, a living room, a reception room or a bed room of a house for creating a comfortable space. SOLUTION: This ornamental lighting system is provided with: an imaging body 2 having transparency or light permeability and having an imaging picture on a curved surface; a light source 3 for obliquely emitting light toward the imaging body 2; and a cover 5 irradiated from the light source 3 and provided with an opening 50 for passing light having passed through the imaging body 2 toward a shadow picture projection surface 4.
