PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an output of a permanent magnet motor 1 by increasing effective magnetic flux by reducing the leakage of magnetic flux generated by permanent magnets 14 that constitute rotor magnetic poles 13. SOLUTION: The permanent magnet motor 1 rotates in synchronization with a rotation magnetic field generated by a stator 3 with the permanent magnets 14 as the rotor magnetic poles 13. The rotor magnetic poles 13 are aligned with a plurality of pieces of the permanent magnets 14 oriented toward a rotating shaft 10, and the permanent magnet pieces 14 are magnetized by inclining directions of magnetic lines of force 15 generated by the permanent magnet pieces 14 located at both ends in the direction of the rotating shaft 10 toward center sides of the rotor magnetic poles 13. By this, the leakage magnetic flux of the rotor magnetic pole 13 is reduced and the effective magnetic flux is increased, thus increasing the output of the permanent magnet motor 1.
