PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk drive that can be made further smaller/thinner. SOLUTION: The magnetic disk drive includes a motor hub 60 having a disk support part 61 supporting a magnetic disk 20 from the bottom and a flange part 62 spreading out in an outer circumferential direction from the rotation center of a magnetic disk above the magnetic disk; a clamp 50 coming into contact with the outer circumference of the flange part with a ring shape surrounding the flange part and having an inclination lower surface 54 inclining downward from the outer circumference of the ring shape toward the inner circumference; and an O-ring 70 coming into contact with the inclination lower surface of the clamp to compress the clamp against the flange and abutted with the magnetic disk to press the magnetic disk against the disk support part.
