PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot cleaner traveling method which divides a cleaning space and defines a traveling course in the divided space and a cleaning order of the divided space. SOLUTION: The method comprises one or more setting steps of setting a virtual space including a space to clean and dividing the virtual space into one or more cells 52; one or more cleaning steps, assigned to each cell, of traveling to clean the assigned cell so that a part of the traveling may mutually intersect perpendicularly; and one or more converting steps, performed after completing the setting step or the cleaning step, of traveling to a next cleaning cell and executing the cleaning step assigned to this cell so that the virtual space may be cleaned in a spiral direction 56 regarding the cell as a unit.
