PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure manufacturable at rather low cost and capable of accurately positioning a yoke 24 and a steering shaft 23 in their respective directions. SOLUTION: First and second recessed parts 50 and 51 are formed in the tip part outer peripheral surface of a steering shaft 23. A nut 26 is installed on a retaining plate part 29 forming the base end part 28 of the yoke 24 while imparting an elastic force in the direction projected from a retaining surface 31. The steering shaft 23 is pushed to the bottom of the base end part 28 only when the tip part of the nut 26 matches the second recessed part 51. When the steering shaft is pushed, the tip part of the nut 26 is engaged with the first recessed part 50 to prevent the position of the steering shaft 23 from being displaced from the position of the yoke 24.
