PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in impact resistance with little dependence of impact resistance on thickness at both normal temperature and low temperature and balance among coating appearance, chemical resistance, heat resistance and rigidity. SOLUTION: The method for producing the thermoplastic resin composition excellent in impact resistance and balance among coating appearance, chemical resistance, rigidity and heat resistance is to prepare a thermoplastic resin composition by melting and mixing a saturated polyester-based resin with an ethylene-based modifiedα-olefin copolymer and a modified vinyl copolymer and melt and mix the thermoplastic resin with a polycarbonate resin and a graft copolymer.
