PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unrolling method of a web material in a packaging machine having the web material which operates intermittently in a cycle. SOLUTION: The method comprises: the step in which when an operation station (3) is in operation, the web material (6) to be treated is unrolled in a predetermined length from a feeding roll (1) and is received in the first enclosure (2) arranged at the upper stream of the operation station (3) in the treatment direction; and the step in which when the operation station (3) is not in operation, the web material (6) to be treated is supplied to the operation station (3) from the first enclosure (2) and at the same time the treated web material (6') is released from the operation station (3) to be transferred.
