The invention relates to an electronic locking device, especially for doors of pieces of furniture or wings of windows. Said electronic locking device comprises a mechanical lock which is assigned to the door/wing and whose locking mechanism can be actuated by twisting a handle that is rotatably mounted on the door/wing. A switching coupling element (11, 12/17, 13) which is electronically triggered by means of triggering electronics (8) is disposed in the force transmission path between the handle and the lock (2). Said switching coupling element (11, 12/17, 13) establishes a torque-transmitting connection between the handle and the lock (2) in an ON position while interrupting said connection in an OFF position. The aim of the invention is to create an electronic locking device that is suitable for wooden furniture and/or windows, has a simple design, is inexpensive to produce, and can be mounted and programmed in a simple manner while particularly making it possible to retrofit existing furniture locks with said electronic locking device. Said aim is achieved by arranging the switching coupling element, the triggering electronics thereof, and a power supply unit in the interior of the hollow handle. The invention further relates to a communication method between the triggering electronics (8) of such a lock and the user thereof via a haptically detectable vibrating signal transmitter (10). |
