A push button and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing cost of the push button by forming the push button without using a double-injection molding process. A push button(10) turns on a switch installed on a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) inside a case, when a user touches the push button. A button body(11) is injection-molded by using a hard plastic, so that a pressurizing bump(12) is protruded from one side of the push button. The button body is plated. An insulation layer(14) is formed at one end of the pressurizing bump by using an elastic insulation material. The insulation layer is cured.
