<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium for reproduction of an image which can inexpensively reproduce an image in a mural painting tone simply, and an image reproduction method which can reproduce the image in the mural painting tone by using those recording mediums for reproduction of an image. <P>SOLUTION: The recording medium for reproduction of an image is made by fixing an ink acceptance layer containing porous particles on the front surface of a substrate made of plaster. Preferably, the recording medium for reproduction of an image is made by interposing a clay layer made of pulp (paper) based clay between the substrate and the ink acceptance layer. The image reproduction method includes the step of printing a digital image by an inkjet direct printer using a pigment ink on the front surface of the ink acceptance layer of the recording medium for reproduction of an image, which is one of the above recording mediums for reproduction of an image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
