摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and easy-to-manufacture lithium ion capacitor, exhibiting high capacitance and energy density, even if the amount of lithium ions doped previously is small. <P>SOLUTION: In the lithium ion capacitor, comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an aprotic organic solvent electrolytic solution of lithium salt as the electrolyte, the positive electrode active substance is a substance such as can carry a lithium ion and/or anion reversibly, the negative electrode active substance is such a substance as can carry a lithium ion reversibly; the negative electrode and/or the positive electrode is doped with lithium ions, before charging such that the potential of the positive electrode becomes 2.0 V or lower, after the positive electrode and the negative electrode have been short-circuited; and the negative electrode active substance is easily graphitized carbon particles, consisting of precursor of easily graphitized carbon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
