<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve serviceability by constituting an image forming apparatus in such a manner that collection of information on the state of an apparatus main part and writing of the contents of service inspection can be efficiently performed by an external reader/writer. <P>SOLUTION: An IC tag of each unit is concentrically provided in the same direction and the internal unit information can be read and written by the reader/writer outside of the apparatus main part.
