<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp capable of decreasing a temperature of a coldest point irrespective of a vertical direction of a light emitting tube, and obtaining stable output in normal lighting. <P>SOLUTION: The compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp 1 comprises a light emitting tube 2, a stabilizer 3 for lighting the light emitting tube 2, a plate 8 for holding the light emitting tube 2 on one side and mounting the stabilizer 3 on the other side, a housing 4 for housing the stabilizer 3 and having a base 5, and an outer tube globe 6 for covering the light emitting tube 2. The compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp 1 with mercury sealed is provided with a projected part 2a formed on a tip end 7a on an opposite side of the base 5 of the light emitting tube 2 and becoming the coldest point when the light emitting tube 2 is lightened in a mounting state with the base 5 side up, and an evacuating tube 7 which is provided for evacuating an inside of the light emitting tube 2, extends to an inside of the housing 4 by passing from the light emitting tube 2 to the plate 8, and wherein the tip end 7a becomes the coldest point when the light emitting tube 2 is lightened in the mounting state with the base 5 side down. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
