<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for an electrostatic inkjet capable of fixing a high grade image on a medium for recording at a low temperature and in a high speed, and a method of an inkjet recording. <P>SOLUTION: This ink composition for the electrostatic inkjet, containing a dispersing medium, electrically charged particles containing at least a coloring material and an electric charge-adjusting agent is characterized in that the charge-adjusting agent contains a steric stabilizer and an electric charge-generating component, and the charge-generating component contains a coordinated associated body bonded with a monovalent alkali metal cation or ammonium cation.
