<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning apparatus from which fault occurring on a conventional mechanical meter is eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: With the tuning apparatus of this invention, when a pitch of an input signal is extracted from a pitch extraction means and deviation of the input signal from a reference pitch is detected by a deviation detection means, driving control of an ultrasonic motor is carried out by a control means according to the deviation detected by the deviation detection means. That is, since the pointer is driven by the ultrasonic motor, for example, various faulty points on the conventional mechanical meter are improved, such as occurrence of a display error due to degradation with time, limits of the direction and angle for installation, limits of use location, and limits of miniaturization and thickness reduction of the whole apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
