<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate an occupant protection device under a suitable condition, by considering a forward moving tendency of a driver due to automatic braking. <P>SOLUTION: The operation control device of the occupant protection device is adopted to a vehicle loaded with an automatic braking system automatically operating a brake device in a stage before collision in which an obstacle collides to a vehicle from a vehicular front side.
