<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism that enables an Internet terminal device to capture window frame configuration information as a browser component and display corresponding information in a window frame. <P>SOLUTION: The Internet terminal device has means for holding a device ID identifying it, means for acquiring window frame configuration information according to the device ID, means for configuring an Internet browser with the use of the information, and means for executing the browser configured by the means. A frame server has means for receiving the device ID from the Internet terminal device, means for holding and associating device IDs and window frame configuration information, and means for acquiring the window frame configuration information associated with the received device ID and returning it to the Internet terminal device.
